Unfortunately, they made the requirements absolutely ridiculous. For the remake they made Gafgarion a Fell Knight and made Dark Knight a class any unit could go to. Gafgarion was always a Dark Knight in the original but you never got a permanent DK on the team. A sort-of new addition to the remake is the Dark Knight class.
